Handoff Document Template

Preface


This is assuming that the application is already deployed using Heroku using a handoff email that will be given to the nonprofit. This email may be an email that you or the nonprofit creates, preferably one under their domain.

  1. Test if everything works (try to break it)
  2. Link gmail to Github (add Github user as admin to repositories)
  3. Add the domain for the application on Heroku. This depends on what the nonprofit wants
  4. Add HTTPS to Heroku
  5. Wipe all dummy data on production server
  6. Add Google Analytics - this will include a Hack4Impact email and the handoff email
  7. Go through Checklist, everything must be checked. Please read through all the details
  8. Move development documents under docs/ in repository and Add in the emails of PM and TL at the end of the README for contact
  9. Upgrade Heroku tiers if requested by the nonprofit
