Hack4Impact members accomplish a lot over the course of the semester, and we may not even realize what we have done until we have to talk about it publicly. What we do in Hack4Impact is unique of any other org on campus, and the products we create are always something to be proud of. Product Showcase is one such opportunity to share the work we have done over the course of the semester with both ourselves and our friends and family.
Sunday, May 1st, from 4-6 pm CST
In some recent semesters pre-Fa21, Product Showcases have been conducted in a virtual format with pre-recorded videos.

Product Showcase Virtual Edition (Spring 2021 Updated)
While these videos have been entertaining, they have also been a cause of stress for many teams—especially the project leads who must film and edit the videos—and the focus of these videos sometimes wavered from the original purpose of Product Showcase. We have since pivoted back toward the original in-person guidelines for Product Showcase but keeping the expectations that presentations be clean, within the time limit, and captivating. Each project team + Academy + Product Research will present.
The timing breakdown below is just a guideline, but we will be strict on total presentation time (minus questions) at 12 minutes out of respect for the other groups (and people’s attention spans lol). PR will have 10 minutes to present.
A lot of this borrows from the midpoint checkin guidelines so feel free to reference what’s there for more detail, but in general be prepared to present to peers and perhaps some visitors, stick to the time-limit, and have fun sharing your hard work! 😎
