Goal

An academy lead's role is completely different from that of a tech lead or product manager. While the other two have a nonprofit as a client, an academy lead's client is the members on the team and the organization. The goal of academy lead is to provide value to each member on the team, h4i as a whole, and yourself.

The value provided to each member is personal growth:

• knowledge
• soft skills
• good work ethic
• solid teamwork
• comfort within h4i
• friendship and mentorship
• confidence in themselves

The value provided to H4I:

• a proactive new member
• fits into and takes a role in the community
• a good team member
• strong development skills
• an avid learner
