- It's important to communicate this to the team by sending out agenda and purpose of meeting beforehand
- If you're going to be asking for your member's time every week, then it's important to show the same respect by communicating the agenda
- This will also help members prepare and keep everyone on the same page
- Send out material (if the meeting is going to have those materials) beforehand
- Send out a reminder a couple hours beforehand
- Add meeting to Calendar
During Meeting
- Announce Meetings purpose
- Briefly go through agenda
- Start meeting
- Share updates (client updates, member updates, etc.)
- Listen, take notes, ask clarifying questions if needed
- Sum up Points, Next Steps, thank everyone for coming, adjourn
- Assign tasks through Github, Asana, Jira, or whatever task management tool that your team is using
- Make sure your team fully understands their task before the meeting ends. This allows them to be more effective and efficient.
